Meet the faces behind the foliage! ???? This Thanksgiving, we're celebrating our Horticulture Team. They don't just care for the plants you see throughout our buildings; they are the dedicated growers of every fresh vegetable and plant at our off-site greenhouse.????
This greenhouse serves a multitude of functions, growing everything from specialized "browse" for our primates and vegetables for the reptiles, to aquatic plants and seedlings for our aquatic environments and future exhibits.
