Back in 2017, we found an Eastern Red-Backed Salamander in our window well. We took him out and examined him for homeschool science class, finding him cool to the touch as he walked across our hands. After taking a few pictures and videos, we safely back in the window well where he came from so that he could bury himself for the winter.
