Mother's love is infinite forever. We often see the truth of these words and most likely you feel it yourself. Mothers have taken care of us from infancy to adulthood. Generally for about 20 years or more, until finally we can live independently and leave our parents.
The same is not always the case in the animal kingdom. There are many types of animals that have never even met their own mother, because the mother leaves immediately after laying eggs. Usually it is experienced by reptiles, amphibians, and insects.
While in mammals, the mother always takes care of her babies for a time, at least until they are no longer suckling. There are even some mammals that take care of their young for a very long time.
The lioness generally even stays with her mother for a lifetime! But not because they are not independent, but because lions live in groups of females. So a group of lions usually consists of females who are related to each other.
All the females in the group work together in caring for the lion cubs. Quoted from Live Science, male lions will eventually leave the group at the age of 4 or 5 years. They will then try to enter another group of lions and seize alpha status so they can have the right to mate with lionesses there.
