Whilst doing some bird watching with Sammie at Colehouse fort in Essex I spotted this lone Natterer's bat flying around! Such a beautiful creature, hopefully its ok as nocturnal mammals seen during the daytime sometimes have health problems so are best caught and taken to a specialist, this one looked fat and healthy so it may have just been disturbed at its roost...
