Aqua Rebell Aquatic Plant Basics

Here is a technique that I like to use with some Echinodorus species. This is especially true for the species that are grown above water in the nursery.

Many species shed these leaves or they die when the plant is completely submerged in water.

For this reason I cut off the complete leaves and give the plant the chance to form new leaves under water.
