18-month-old Roi Yim, Melbourne Zoo’s only male calf has finally been introduced to his dad, 14-year-old Luk Chai. Both boys seemed keen to say hello, with Roi being almost brave enough to go and hang out with Luk Chai alone – although he quickly changed his mind and sought out mum Mali’s reassuring presence.
