Herpetofauna, or reptiles and amphibians, often get overlooked, and if they’re not venomous or otherwise dangerous to people most of us barely pay any attention to them. However, if you dig a little deeper into their lives you’ll find that they have some of the most diverse and fascinating survival strategies in the animal kingdom. Today, we are exploring the forests and swamps of Louisiana in search of some of its coolest reptiles and amphibians, to show you six incredible stories of success that will absolutely blow your mind.
We owe a massive thank you to Zachary Gray @LifesWildAdventures for generously sharing his time and knowledge with us, which has been instrumental in every stage of production for our trip to Louisiana. Working alongside him is always a pleasure and an honor, go check out his channel for more great wildlife content! Also, we can't forget to thank Ben Zino @TheWildReportOfficial for sharing his little brown skink footage with us.
