Zebra ???? Tang !
Acanthurus polyzona - Well I decided to treat the AAC main stores display aquarium to one of my all time favourite species, especially as these don’t come up often at this size and with an existing tang population the only way to go was with a tiny juvenile like this one .

They are regarded by anyone serious about their marine fish as the holy grail of tangs, due to its very restricted range in the Indian Ocean and rarely available in the trade.
Although similar in looks to a convict tang ( and they do hybridise as I get witnessed in the wild ) I can assure you that the character is completely different and facial markings and barring far more prominent . Although black and silver they absolutely contrast in the reef aquarium.
