Will it work? A heating pad under my phytoplankton culture for reef tank.

My corals and reef tank love phytoplankton, unfortunately the isochryis culture is not happy about the colder temperatures in the house. It normally is a yellowish dark brown, but turns green when stressed. After a lot of brainstorming I thought I would try this seedling heating mat. It took the culture from 69F to 76F. Here is to hoping it recovers.????
