Everyone knows that group of sea otters is called a raft. This is because of their tendency to hold hands while they sleep. Here, a raft of sea otters take turns surfing!

All the sea otters in this video were orphaned when they were pups and still dependent on their mothers. Some of these otters were only a few days old. Since they were too young to survive in the wild, they were rescued and deemed non-releasable by the Department of Fisheries Canada and/or NOAA in the US. Thankfully, these adorable marine mammals have found a permanent home where a dedicated staff of marine mammal trainers and veterinarians provide them with exceptional care, food, and even toys. Sea otters aren't just cute, they're also extremely playful, so it's important that they receive the mental and physical stimulation that comes with a brand new toy like this raft.
