Unboxing and installing a new Tunze Comline 3168 Submersible internal aquarium multifilter.
00:00:34 Initial one time magnet holder setup installation
00:07:01 Aquarium insertion of Tunze filter into water
00:08:23 Powering on and Silent operation evalutation
00:09:34 Tunze Filter Media Bell Activated Carbon plans
First steps included setting up the magnet holder units, and the instructions required a couple read throughs.
Installation Synopsis:
* insert 4 rubber (acrylic?) bumper pads into the round indentation holes on each of the magnet platters (these bumpers will rest on the aquarium glass)
* insert 4 silicone attachments on the magnet platters which need to be attached to the main unit body of the Comline 3168 filter
* attach the magnet platters using the silicone bumpers on the filter body
The second half of the video is the initial insertion of the filter into the aquarium and powering it on. You can hear the sound generated and judge for yourself, but I'm very impressed with the very very low pleasant hum the unit emits, which you really have to listen for -- this unit really is very silent.
