It’s trimming day for the 3ft planted aquarium, I’ve fully planted this tank with multiple types of aquatic plants… It’s now time to trim back all the overgrown parts and replant the cuts to propagate more… You can never have too many plants, keep on adding!
When trimming the plants I used aquascaping scissors which are curved to help get precise cuts and straight aquascaping tweezers to plant the offcuts back into the substrate.
In the tank is a breeding pair of bristlenose plecos and a bush fish… not to forget the countless amounts of Malaysian trumpet snails.
I’m attempting to breed the plecos in this semi-community style aquarium using a small pleco cave and providing lots of food, while maintaining excellent water quality. I’m planning on moving the bush fish out and adding a breeding pair of Nannacara Anomala, hopefully this breeding setup will help entice them into spawning - I’m a strong believer that planted tank and natural ecosystem environments are the best way to keep fish happy and healthy.
Thanks for stopping by!✌????❤️
