Description: Juvenile Coral Pigfish are black-bodied with 8 to 10 white spots along the outer edges of their body. Adults display a two-tone colouration, with the front half of the body being red to brown and the back half white. They also have distinct black spots at the base of the pectoral, anal, and dorsal fins. The caudal fin is edged with yellow. This species typically inhabits seaward reefs, lagoons, and rocky estuaries.
