Monodactylus Argenteus is commonly called as Sea Angel, Mono Angelfish, Silver Moony, Silver Batfish, Diamond moonfish etc. belong to the Monodactylidae family. Their distribution is widespread. They can be found along the Australian coast, throughout Southeast Asia, and Eastern Africa. They are mainly found in the Red Sea.
