This Christmas tree worm rock was introduced to my tank on the 14th November 2021. I have wanted to try keeping these amazing creatures ever since I started reef keeping many years ago, I hope I can keep everything happy and healthy for as long as possible.
The video was taken with an iPhone 13 pro. I definitely need to work on my recording technique, some of the shots look soft to my eyes. I think I may have been a little overenthusiastic with how close the phone lenses can focus. Still hopefully you get an idea how truly beautiful this piece is.
Also if anyone can identify the hitchhiking tunicate growing on the underside of the rock then I would very much appreciate it. I'm guessing it maybe Styela or Cnemidocarpa species.
