A film documenting our efforts over the last three years to bring small mammals back to Hackney Marshes and restore and improve biodiversity in and along the old River Lea. The Old Lea and Marshes Restoration Project was led by Wildlife Gardeners of Haggerston, supported and funded by the Mayor of London Groundwork London, Hackney Council and the Rewild London Fund, The London Wildlife Trust, The Environment Agency, Wild Trout Trust, Save Lea Marshes and Lee Valley Regional Park Authority. None of this would have possible without the support of the hundreds of volunteers who have and continue to help our work on the marshes.
