Master Reefer mind set vs Novice Reefer mind set. The more systems added to a reef tank the more complex they become. Complicated systems have Well defined axioms and rules, standards of practice and exhaustive well researched models for which to glean or applied mechanics. Though it may take an expert to control a complicated system it can be done. However, complex systems defy standard models, resist axioms and rules they are more nuanced and abstract leading to a change of operating mind set from solve to manage. This why most reefers fall out of the hobby they tend to have a solve mind set while operating a complex system which tends to lead to undesirable failure.
