Rain Hail or Shine, the snakes are still on the move and in strange locations!
This is insane and I reckon if anybody found themselves in this situation it would nearly make you fall off your chair haha. A family had a desk in the home which both adults used regularly, and when one of them opened up the desk drawer to get the stapler out they found a 3 foot Carpet Python instead. I guess its a good excuse to stop working for the night. I headed straight over and relocated the cheeky snake elsewhere.
With the rain and the humidity around at the moment we are still getting calls for snakes, especially keelbacks! The Keelback absolutely loves this weather with their main diet consisting of frogs and toads. We are also catching plenty of Common Tree Snakes and Carpet Pythons as well. As you can see in this video we got soaking wet trying to find the snake. All part of the job haha, 24/7 rain, hail or shine.
Keelbacks arent the only ones having all the fun with Pythons are also Loving this Rain and Looking For Food! Even though its been bucketing down with rain, snakes have still been on the move and seeking shelter around homes. We attended back to back jobs with Carpet Pythons, one which was basking on the side of the driveway waiting for the sun to come out, and the other had just eaten a bird and was swallowing its meal. Please keep an eye out for snakes on the move in this wet weather, We are available 24/7 if needed and have the most professional and experienced team anywhere.
