I am a marine biologist with a decade of experience working with marine mammals. My favorite part of being a marine biologist was always public outreach; engaging and inspiring the public to care more about our oceans and the conservation efforts to protect marine mammals such as the north Atlantic right whale. Right whales are critically endangered and one of the leading threats they face is entanglement in vertical lines from commercial lobster and crab fisheries.

Unfortunately, the 2020 pandemic dramatically limited my ability to engage with the public. Which is why I decided to launch this YouTube channel. But as you see in this fail video... content creation isn't always as easy as it looks.
