This episode is all about waterchange!
I have a 100L/25G tank. I change a full pail of water estimated at 20L/5G once every 2 weeks with a gravel vacuum of at least half my sand bed. In the other week, I will change out a few cups of water of about 6L/1.5G.
At the end of 2 weeks, I can already see some algae and visible fish poop on the sand, which is a huge visual eyesore. So I've gotten into the habit of vacuuming to keep the sand pristine. Maybe I should get a sand sifting starfish :D
