This 1m long Nile Monitor lizard climbed a Marula Tree and stayed resting on a branch for the whole night. In the morning it climbed down and started chasing birds around our bird bath. It is dry season in Zanzibar and insects, mammals, birds and reptiles come to drink from our bird-bath.
