Louis The Conure Tries to Scratch With Missing Leg

Louis, one of our rescue conures, came to us with a disability. He only has one leg.

He is the most adorable bird and sometimes tries to use his missing leg!

It's important to remember how adaptable parrots are and never to write them off.

I love this clip of him, so I couldn't help but share it separately, even if it doesn't get mega views.

These videos are filmed as part of the flocks playtime and as such even with training/play I never force them to do anything. All training is done with positive reinforcement. Both me and Sophie believe strongly in giving our birds the choice when participating in activities!
