In this (belated) tank update we take a look at my 20 gallon long low tech nano reef at the 3 year mark. This tank runs with a simple light fixture, powerhead, heater, and nothing else.
Overall, the system has matured fairly smoothly over its third year, with a few notable shifts in the resident algae and coral populations. If you're interested in the cheap and lazy approach to reefkeeping, then this video is definitely for you.
