Located in Atlantis, Paradise Island's Royal Towers and viewable from within The Dig and lower level of the Great Hall of Waters, Ruins Lagoon is adorned with artifacts inspired by ancient Atlantis. Ruins Lagoon is home to more than 20,000 deep reef and pelagic fish. The 2.7 million-gallon marine exhibit also displays open-water specimens such as a variety of jacks, snappers, and spiny lobster. Resort guests can snorkel in this unbelievable setting during our exciting Snorkel the Ruins program.
While travelling to Paradise Island in Nassau Bahamas on New Providence we had a chance to visit the Atlantis hotel on the island. The Atlantis is a spectacular European style all inclusive hotel. Vacationing here is a little expensive but the experience is well worth it. You can get a day pass for the Atlantis as well to use their attractions. The array of areas and aquatic life is very large and amazing to see. There are waterslides that go right under water through a giant aquarium full of sharks. The Atlantis marine habitat is spread through the entire hotel and can be seen on an Atlantis paradise island hotel tour.
