So knowing that the Moorish Idol would eventually maybe pick on coral. Knowing I did not have a dedicated tank. Still took the risk to have one. So I adopted this specimen and knowing it wasn't eating in its holding tank at my LFS. Still took the chance knowing it would do better in a reef environment and wanted to basically save it from someone not knowing how to care for this species of fish. So yah,,,; got it eating and it gained weight. It also in the beginning went through a little ick cycle and beat it. Now it has more immunity towards it. It can fight that off much better than others.
The Moorish was doing so well. Got along with its tank mates so much it became a bit of a bully.
It is in the sump now. Looking for a home. However I want to make sure it goes to the right home. It would suck to have someone take it just for the look of the fish.
Had Moorish Idols in the past. Unfortunately this is exactly what I do. Have to get rid of them due to tank break downs and knowing that it will eventually eat corals. I believe Moorish are my addiction and not just my life style.. lol....
uhhhhhhh. I just wished It was more of a Zoe eater and not my SPS that takes so long to grow to the point where their at.

Update!!!’- Arlene has convinced me to get a separate tank and tie it into the frag system. So going to get something soon. Going to keep it very simple so I can keep my Moorish Idols and stop giving them away. Maybe in time I will have a real big enough system to release it back into my reef system.

Peace Guys..........
