Just imagine how hard winter is for birds. They are out there 24 hours a day, exposed to all that nature can throw at them. They have to somehow find enough food and shelter carrying them through each day until Spring. It's a task when most of the food they eat, such as insects, is quite scarce during these times.
It's remarkable and goes to show how well adapted they are, however a little proper help from people can go a long way. In this video, I’m going to go over a few ways to help birds over this chilly and bleak time of year. When done properly it can be a wonderful experience.

If you have a sick or injured bird in your possession I can not help this bird in any way it is strongly advised to contact a local vet or wildlife official before any decisions are made. It is very easy to do more harm than good when handling any wildlife.
