Anyone else feel this way about their duckweed? ????
????Often times #duckweed gets a bad wrap but we love it because it’s a powerhouse in a shrimp tank. Its rapid growth helps keep algae in check, while also offering shade for our shrimp. ???? The extra surface area it creates supports beneficial bacteria, which helps reduce nitrates and maintain water quality. Plus, duckweed can be turned into a nutritious treat for shrimp by blending it into a paste, drying it, be sure to add some spirulina powder to enrich it though!
