Ammannia Gracilis - Aquarium Plant Info

I am posting once a day for the year of 2022! We will be focusing on fish species, plants, fish food, equipment, anything related to fishkeeping.For this video I want to look at a plant called Ammannia gracilis is a stem plant that can give off wonderful reds and pinks when it is under a high light and has Co2 introduced into the tank. It is also known by the names of Red Ammannia, Large ammannia, Delicate ammannia and Pink ammanni. First introduced into the hobby by PJ Bussink. In the wild it is native to West Africa in the floodplains, marches, streams and rivers, it will grow its roots into sandy soil with very little nutrients. As a palustris plant is can grow both emerged and submerged.
