Feeding guppy fry in the low-tech, no-filter aquarium ❤️????

I recently added 10 guppy fry to this Walstad tank. Once they get a bit bigger, they’ll be moved to a larger aquarium.

This is a low-tech, no-filter Walstad setup where the plants do all the heavy lifting—keeping the water clean and oxygen-rich. The key is having way more plants than animals. The plants soak up the waste, and keeping the fish load light helps avoid nutrient buildup.

(4.4 liters or 1.17 gallons)

- Air plants (Tillandsia)

Light:
5W White LED Aquarium Light

Photo period: 10 hours with 4 hours siesta period. Light on for 5 hours, off for 4 hours and then turn again for 5 hours.
