This summer, I had an opportunity to go to Indonesia for a little bit of time and for that reason, there weren't any chances for me to go beetle hunting so I made do with the next best thing and that was this museum. I visited Taman Mini for a day to look at the insects of Indonesia, of course preserved, and was also treated with a visit to the Freshwater Aquarium as the ticket was bundled. It was so cool to see all the various horned rhinoceros and stag beetles and I had an amazing experience albeit with a tinge of disappointment from the Butterfly Garden. Altogether I had a great time learning and observing both terrestrial and aquatic creatures.
