In this video I introduce my new(ish) wall hammer coral that I added about a month ago to my ultra low tech nano reef tank. This is my first euphyllia and it's doing great so far, perhaps a bit too well... Those long stinging tentacles have already taken a small chunk out of one of my cyphastreas last week, and I somehow doubt that will be the last of it.
Anyway, I do think the hammer adds a lot of interest to the quieter left side of the tank. And also I should be able to use the pattern of flow in the tank to my advantage to reduce the odds of those long aggressive tentacles hitting my other corals going forward. We'll just have to see.
Hope you enjoy the video and feel free to comment below.
