Last few years, I have been invited to check out this facility called Florida Coral Rescue Center that has been doing some amazing work rescuing and conserving critically endangered and functionally extinct corals from Florida Reef Tract.
Few weeks ago, I was finally able to take advantage of the situation and head up there and get the behind the scene footage for you guys as well so that you guys can see what is going on in our oceans and what kind of intervention these folks are doing to make sure these corals do not go extinct from this planet.
What is so unique about this Rescue Center is that along with many companies that's behind the project, both Seaworld and Disney came together for this project. Usually you don't see competing theme parks to work together like this but it was really good to see that they dropped all their differences to come together to work towards the same goal together.
Watch Sarah as she gives us a tour of the facility and explains how the hobby grade equipment has helped this facility on preserving these amazing corals. We were able to check out their new facility inside the Seaworld park and it's going to be open to public in near future and I am excited that the exposure and how it will educate people all around the world about coral conservation.
