In this video, I’m going to show you how I made this nano vase aquarium. This vase is 6 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter. I used fluval stratum aquasoil and 6 different plants. I’ll have a link to everything I used in my bio. I started out with some leftover crushed lava rock, then added a few cups of aquasoil. Once the aquasoil was in, I added a little bit of water so the soil was wet when I planted. I used dwarf hair grass, crypt parva mini, utricularia graminifolia, rotala blood red, and rotala narrow leaf sp red. My idea for this vase was to have UG growing in the front, dwarf hairgrass and some rotala on the right, rotala in the back and some crypt parva in the middle. I filled the vase with water and then waited about two weeks for the plants to get established and then did my first trim. All of the UG melted and didn’t look like it was going to come back, so I took all of my rotala trimmings and added them to the front. My new plan for this, is to just fill the entire thing with rotala
