Kaiju was an Argentine tegu. These large lizards are the most intelligent reptile there is. We lost her to an inoperable benign tumor in her GI system. Honestly, once out of pocket expenses and enclosure is set up... these are easier than so many other reptiles. You need SPACE. Did I say you need space? at least 4×8. wow! Very, Very inexpensive to keep once set up. Clean animals. But they need tons of out time, baths, and love.
