(2023) Did you know a leopard's roar sounds similar to a chainsaw? Leopards are one of four members of the "big cat" family, which also includes lions, tigers, and jaguars. All four cats are grouped not just for their size but for their capacity to roar. This helps them navigate their large home ranges and communicate from afar. Sometimes, you can hear this sound coming from our leopard building, located in the Discovery Area of the Refuge
