Ferrets, Minks & Weasels are closely related. This group of animals which are Mammals BTW, naturally use burrows in the ground as their dens. It is in these dens that they sleep, have their young, store their food, and eat. ... This is why ferrets like tubes so much.
So having Tube Tunnels for them makes it feel like they're in their natural environment and very good for enrichment. Ferrets can play for hours and hours in their tunnels.
Today was the first day they had them here and it was so much fun to watch ????
As you can see in this video, this is why it is much better to have 2 Ferrets so they can sleep & play together.
