Coloration and markings are some of the main reasons we as humans are so fascinated with animals. The animal kingdom is loaded with living eye candy. When it comes to herptiles (reptiles and amphibians), some of the most outstanding examples exist. Whether it's snakes, frogs or turtles, the color spectrum is remarkable. Although the markings and design of these creatures seem conspicuous to us, they are in place for a reason and that's so the animals can blend in with their surroundings! While we have grown used to seeing such variation in the animal world there are still many surprises to behold such as what's in this video...
