Keeping Water - Episode 67: Pond fish fact-finding - Rudd in the wild and the pond

The leaves have started falling fairly heavily this weekend, helped by strong winds and heavy rain.

The fish, I think are doing ok. As I’ve said, as the net and a broken GoPro make keeping an eye on the fish difficult, I’ve cut right back on feeding, no bad thing really as temps are heading down too.

Thanks to everyone who’s watched, liked and commented over the last week, I’ve not been great on engagement, but there are a few reasons including what I’ve just spoken about, but I do really appreciate it, so please keep with it.

This week’s video is a deeper look at the rudd, some facts about them as a species, and comparing how my fish are doing with wild fish. With other videos a little tricky to make at the moment, and exciting stuff still a couple of weeks off, it seemed like a good time to make this kind of video.
