Don't do this kind of cleaning in your tank very often

The maintenance of our aquarium is of utmost importance to maintain a healthy environment for our fish.
However, we know that too much cleaning can be harmful to the heart of the aquarium, which is the filter and its beneficial bacteria.

What I did and show you in this video, is something that should not be done often. In this video I will show you how I cleaned the sand, the glass, the lids, and all the filters (filter matter) that I have in my aquarium. But don't do this kind of tank cleaning often, it's not good if you don't know what you are doing.
I usually do this every six months, in order to reset the maintenance and plan everything again and maybe with a new organization.

What I did was clean everything at once, which could potentially have killed a considerable number of bacteria in the filters, which could, if you do nothing after cleaning, lead to spikes in ammonia, nitrite and/or nitrate.

To combat this potential problem, we should, for 7 days in a row, do water changes every other day of 10% and daily, add beneficial bacteria and double the recommended dosage. Also daily, we should use seachem prime, to buffer any parameter spikes that may have derived from the sudden lowering of bacteria in the filters.
