This was the same day that I found the beaver working hard on its dam all day long. Here it is swimming around by the dam after dropping off some more mortar and sticks. It submerges at about the 1:00 minute mark, and then you can actually see the bubbles from it slowly letting out its breath underwater as it swims around under the surface. I was then able to catch it back on the surface before it swam towards the log that the ducks were sitting on and goes under again to get under the log. If you watch closely you can see the bubble trail but I didn't spot it on the camera when I was shooting, so I lost track of it.
