To cycle a fish aquarium using fish you should add 1 to 2 smaller fish like guppies. It will also help the cycling process to use plants in this process because they will consume and feed on any excess ammonia. The idea here is to keep the ammonia levels as low as possible because that’s what burns the fishes gills and is harmful.
