Incredible Wild Elephant Encounter with the Jabulani Herd ????

A young wild bull recently wandered over to join our herd as they grazed peacefully near a muddy patch. His smaller size and frame show that he is still in his teenage years, even slightly smaller than Limpopo, our eldest-born female.

Walking in with confidence, he made himself at home within the herd, enjoying a cooling mud bath as Limpopo and Klaserie came to greet him, using their trunks to investigate. For young wild bulls, this behaviour is natural. Moving between herds as they grow, learning social skills and gaining confidence along the way.

As a larger wild herd of elephants approached, our carers gently called our herd away to prevent conflict, giving both groups a safe space in their shared home ????
