Sometimes your hens can lose their feathers pretty fast, especially if they don't have enough calcium or if there aren't enough hens with the roosters. You can either fix this by separating your roosters until the feathers grow back or you can feed your hens eggshells and oyster shells. Each of these gives your chickens calcium. Your hens need calcium to not only grow back their feathers and keep them healthy but they also need calcium to have some strong healthy eggshells.
