This low-tech, no-filter nano shrimp aquarium. This aquarium is inspired by the Walstad method, which relies on plenty of plants to filter the water and provide oxygen for the inhabitants. A high plant-to-livestock ratio is key. More plants help absorb waste and enhance water quality, while a lighter bioload prevents nutrient buildup.
