This 22-litre aquascape has been up and running for about five months, and I've done some maintenance before, but I decided to see what it would be like if I just let the pearl weed grow.
It looked good for a while, but I wanted to see my fish again. So I decided to tackle the pearl weed head-on with the aquascaping scissors. This video is the result.
As a bonus for my efforts, I treated myself to a new female betta splendens and, in a silvery blue, this fish looks magnificent.
The question is... how much trimming is enough? Let me know what you think in the comments.
