Jellyfish culturing requires successfully navigating an incredibly complex series of life stages, beginning with immobile polyps that bud off tiny clones called ephyra that eventually become adults known as "medusae." Getting this process right and raising healthy jellies is extremely difficult, but our Assistant Curator of Fishes just managed to raise her first in-house Pacific Sea Nettles!
