We wanted to make a video series highlighting how we package and ship our livestock, so that you know the best care and attention is being placed with your new tank additions.

In this video, we will be going over how we package some of our live Corals for shipment to you! The first coral we will be collecting today is the pulsing Xenia. Pulsing Xenia is a type of coral that we aquaculture in house here at Salty Underground. It has great movement and will open and close its polyps giving it one of the more interesting corals.

The next coral we are collecting is our neon green and purple Confusa Montipora. This is also another coral that we aquaculture here at Salty Underground and it will arrive to you on a frag.

Next up we have the Chile Pepper Montipora. Common names for Montipora spp. are velvet coral, velvet finger coral, and velvet branch coral. M. undata coral is a small polyp stony (SPS) coral and is a fast- growing plating coral that will add diversity to your reef aquarium. The Montipora undata coral is peaceful and can be placed in close proximity to other similar peaceful corals in the reef aquarium.

We also have an Aussie Acropora frag that we need to collect for a customer. This is a beautiful coral that would be great in any coral collection.

Last, but not least we have the Alien Eyes Zoanthid with 40+ polyps! This is a coral that is also aquacultured at our facility and looks great! Zoanthids are easy to keep which makes them a good choice for beginner reef aquarists. In good water parameters they will reproduce in the reef aquarium by budding, increasing the size of their colony.
They contain the symbiotic algae, "zooxanthellae," which will provide almost all of their nutritional requirements.
