Skinks are lizards belonging to the family Scincidae.
This was one of those animals, just completely comfortable!
Sometimes I find them in a bucket or something, i guess they fall in and can't get out, sometimes they are then so exhausted that you might expect this kind of behaviour and that could easily get misread but this guy was free to go from the start, as i took that eggcrate, I held my balled fist right under and in front of him and on he went, what an amazing experience for a reptile lover like me! Cheers little buddy!
