Nature is magical at hiding babies, hidden in the grass is a beautiful baby Plover chick, this Plover is also called a masked lapwing, masked plover or spur-winged plover. Sadly this chick had a very short life thanks to the local council movers. Not many Plover chicks survive to become adult birds.
