While our experience in the reptile industry has centered on the captive breeding of amazing animals, there is nothing close to witnessing the animals we love in their natural environment. During the summer of 2025, Bob and Mary Vu led a herping expedition into the heart of the Costa Rican rainforest in order to guide us in our first adventure discovering reptiles in the wild. From crocodiles to boas to frogs, we traversed Costa Rica in the back of a Suzuki Vitara and are already planning our next adventure.
